Pâmela confirmed her favoritism and won the 21st Itaú BBA IRONMAN Brasil in Jurerê Internacional, in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina. She, who equaled the number of achievements of Fernanda Keller, became the first to guarantee the second consecutive championship of the race in the capital of Santa Catarina. Argentine Luciano Taccone ended up taking the second victory from Reinaldo Colucci in a very balanced and exciting dispute, with both alternating in the lead.
