The 2024 edition of the Itaú BBA IRONMAN 70.3 Rio de Janeiro triathlon will classify athletes for 2026 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship race – location and date TBD.
The 2024 edition of the race classified athletes for 2024 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship race, to be held on in Taupo, New Zeland – December 14th and 15th.
In addition to the 30 guaranteed Age Group slots, the race had another 15 slots exclusively for women, as an initiative of the Women For Tri program, a global policy created in 2015 by the IRONMAN brand that aims to help the growth of the female audience in long-distance triathlon races around the world.
