The Itaú BBA IRONMAN 70.3 Rio de Janeiro 2025 will qualify athletes for the 2026 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship, which will take place in Nice, France, on September 12 and 13, 2026.
The 2024 edition of the race classified athletes for 2024 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship in Taupo, New Zeland.
In addition to the 30 guaranteed Age Group slots, the race had another 15 slots exclusively for women, as an initiative of the Women For Tri program, a global policy created in 2015 by the IRONMAN brand that aims to help the growth of the female audience in long-distance triathlon races around the world.
