For the first time in the country, the swim will take place in a river, at the Foz Vaza Barris. The bike course consists of three laps on a mostly flat route, finishing at the Orla do Atalaia. Finally, the run will be along the shore, allowing spectators to closely follow the participants.

IRONMAN and Unlimited Sports announced today the inclusion of Aracaju (SE) in the 2024 calendar of events for the Itaú BBA IRONMAN 70.3 circuit in Brazil. The debut of the remarkable “little one from the Northeast”, as the capital of the smallest Brazilian state is popularly known, will be on November 24th. The stage replaces the race in Maceió (AL) and joins the other four events already scheduled in the cities of Florianópolis (14/04), Rio de Janeiro (23/06), Fortaleza (25/08), and São Paulo (22/09).
