The 2024 edition of the Itaú BBA IRONMAN 70.3 Florianópolis triathlon qualified 45 athletes for the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship race, to be held on in Taupo, New Zeland.
In addition to the guaranteed 30 Age Group slots, the race had another 15 slots exclusively for women, as an initiative of the Women For Tri program, a global policy created in 2015 by the IRONMAN brand that aims to help the growth of the female audience in long-distance triathlon races around the world.
