MEDIA GUIDE

MEDIA ACCREDITATION

The presence in the restricted areas of the event (Finish Line, Transition Area, and Course) is strictly reserved for members of the press representing bona fide media organizations and for the event sponsors members. We will not credential independent (free-lancers) photographers and filmmakers focused on specific athletes or professionals working for commercial entities.

Accreditation requests from fan sites, fan blogs, or social media (content creators) without a journalistic profile, as well as individuals and film crews not affiliated with any media organizations, will not be accepted. Requests from Marketing team members, directors, or CEOs of agencies producing documentaries, films, biographies, books, or any organization that does not produce original editorial content will also not be considered.

If you have any issues or queries about the process, please email mbragacom@mbragacom.com.br where we will be able to assist.

Note: All the applications need to be approval for the race day. The press officer will notify the final decision until 3 days before the race.

Safety Rules for Filming and Photography on the Course

For safety reasons, we inform you that the presence of filming or photography professionals accompanying athletes — amateur or professional — in any type of vehicle, motorized or not, for the purpose of capturing personal footage during the race will not be allowed.

This restriction includes, but is not limited to: motorcycles, bicycles, scooters, unicycles, electric scooters, or any other means of transportation, regardless of whether they are circulating on the official course or on parallel roads.

Such practice poses a real risk to the safety of participants, technical staff, and spectators, and compromises the integrity of the event. Safety is, and will always be, the organization’s top priority.

Official press members will be properly identified with specific vests, and only previously accredited professionals will be authorized to cover the event.

We emphasize that any athlete caught by race officials being accompanied, filmed, or photographed by non-accredited professionals, using any type of vehicle and at any point on or near the course, will be immediately penalized with a yellow card. In the event of a repeat infraction, the athlete may also be disqualified from the race.

We count on everyone’s understanding and cooperation to ensure a safe, fair, and well-organized competition.
