The best way to get around Brasília is by car. However, due to limited parking spaces, we recommend using taxis or ride-hailing services.
Access to Pontão do Lago Sul will be allowed for pedestrians ONLY from 4:30 AM. Until 8:00 AM, the Pontão parking lot will be CLOSED to vehicles. For this reason, we recommend that athletes use taxis or ride-hailing services for greater convenience. If you are using a personal or rental vehicle, parking will ONLY be allowed at Arie do Bosque, in front of Pontão.
On Sunday, RACE DAY, some city roads will be partially closed, as the race course will be shared with vehicles. Therefore, we suggest that athletes and spectators leave well in advance. The main access to Pontão is via the Honestino Guimarães Bridge, also known as the “Second Bridge.”
The main hub for spectators, offering views of the swim start, both transitions (T1 & T2), and the finish line. Due to traffic restrictions, we do not recommend moving to other locations during the event.
Esplanada dos Ministérios (4 km from Pontão)
One of Brasília’s iconic landmarks, this is an alternative spot to watch the bikes on course, particularly near the Cathedral, where a key turnaround point is located.
JK Brigde
A stunning vantage point along the bike course, featuring its famous arches and panoramic views of Lake Paranoá.
Península dos Ministros
A key section of the race, where athletes will push their limits along lakeside trails. Spectators can enjoy the scenic park surroundings while cheering on the participants.
TIME EXPECTATION
The first athletes should start transitioning from swimming to cycling from 6:50 a.m. Participants should start to go through the transition from cycling to running aroud 8:40 a.m. The arrival of the first place finishers is expected from 10:30.
