The tropical climate of Brasília, typical of the Cerrado region, along with its wide, well-paved roads, contributes to an extremely fast and competitive race. Passing by several landmarks, such as the famous Paranoá Lake and the Praça dos Três Poderes, the race offers a unique opportunity to combine tourism, leisure, and performance.
The stage for the first IRONMAN 70.3 race in Brazil back in 2006, the nation’s capital is ready to relive the thrill of high-level competition, remarkable endurance, and pure adrenaline.
The “rookies” shined at the IRONMAN 70.3 Brasília 2025, marking the city’s return to the calendar after a decade. Miguel Hidalgo and Djenyfer Arnold, Olympic athletes who represented Brazil at the Paris 2024 Games, had a perfect day in Brazil’s Federal Capital. Unfazed by the fact that it was their debut at this distance and the level of competition, they not only won the race but also set new course records.
