Curitiba, Brazil to Host New IRONMAN 70.3 Triathlon

– IRONMAN and Unlimited Sports have announced that the city of Curitiba, in the state of Paraná, will host the newest IRONMAN® 70.3® triathlon in Brazil. The IRONMAN 70.3 Curitiba – Paraná triathlon will debut on March 8, 2026, expanding the IRONMAN 70.3 series in the country alongside Florianópolis, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Aracaju, and Brasília. The IRONMAN 70.3 Curitiba triathlon will feature a 1.9km (1.2-mile) swim in the Passaúna Reservoir, followed by a single-loop 90.1km (56-mile) bike course set against an invigorating and motivating backdrop. The 21.1km (13.1-mile) run course will be staged in the heart of the city at Parque Barigui, where the IRONMAN Village and finish line will also be located, ensuring a spectacular experience for both athletes and spectators. Curitiba, capital of the Brazilian state of Paraná, is recognized as one of the most innovative and well-planned cities in Brazil. Curitiba é a mais nova etapa do circuito IRONMAN 70.3 no Brasil

O IRONMAN e a Unlimited Sports anunciaram hoje que a cidade de Curitiba, capital do Paraná, sediará a mais nova prova do circuito IRONMAN® 70.3® no Brasil. O IRONMAN 70.3 Curitiba-Paraná faz sua estreia dia 8 de março de 2026, agregando ainda mais valor para o calendário da modalidade no país, que atualmente já contempla as cidades de Florianópolis, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Aracaju e Brasília. Com isso, o Brasil passa a ser o segundo país com maior número de provas IRONMAN no mundo, atrás somente dos Estados Unidos e empatado com a Austrália. As inscrições serão abertas às 17 horas (horário de Brasília) do dia 23 de outubro de 2025. “Receber um evento como esse mostra que o Paraná entrou definitivamente na rota das grandes competições nacionais e internacionais, o que movimenta a economia com hospedagens, alimentação e turismo.
